As a Snowflake-Principal Data Architect your work is a combination of hands-on contribution to designing, implementing, and optimizing our Snowflake data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering scalable and high-performance data solutions.

Technical Solution Design in Project Delivery:
• Lead the development of technical solutions for Snowflake-based projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Provide detailed technical specifications, encompassing data models, ETL processes, and integration points.
• Incorporate innovative approaches, such as leveraging generative AI, to enhance Snowflake solutions for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
• Ensure cost-effective solutions by considering the Snowflake cost model and implementing optimizations where applicable.
• Prioritize data quality and governance in solution design, implementing best practices to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Stay updated on Snowflake's latest features, integrating them into project designs for enhanced functionality.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project delivery process.
Business Proposal Support:
• Support business proposals by providing solution approaches, detailed estimations, and technical insights.
• Collaborate with project management and other stakeholders to ensure estimations align with overall project goals.
• Consider Snowflake cost models in proposal estimations, optimizing costs for storage, compute, and data
• transfer.
• Advocate for data quality and governance practices in proposals to enhance the reliability of delivered solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest features in Snowflake, incorporating them into proposals for cutting-edge offerings.
• Contribute innovative ideas based on industry trends to make business proposals forward-thinking.
Building Reusable Components and Horizontal Snowflake Practice:
• Contribute to the organization's success by building reusable frameworks, tools, and accelerators for Snowflake implementations.
• Support the development of horizontal Snowflake practices, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Actively participate in the Snowflake community, staying updated on the latest features, industry trends, and best practices.
• Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to explore and implement cutting-edge solutions in Snowflake projects.
• Ensure the reusability of components aligns with cost optimization strategies outlined in the Snowflake cost model.
• Advocate for data quality and governance in the development of reusable components to maintain consistency.
