Job Title: Senior Engineer-IBM TM1/Planning Analytics

Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad.

As a Senior Engineer-IBM TM1/Planning Analytics you will build and learn about a variety of Planning &

Budgeting solutions.

6-13 years of experience in designing and building TM1 models – Cubes, Dimensions Business Rules
Conceptualize, Build and execute business purpose driven TM1 Rules
Build TI processes for data/metadata and other purposes.
Define and deploy user management for model-based access
Reporting solutions using PAx and PAW.
Experience with TM1 Web and TM1Py
Design exception handling and log monitoring for debugging.
Ideate with business stakeholders to make techno-functional solutions.
Interact and collaborate with multiple teams (Upstream/Downstream teams) and various stakeholders to
meet deadlines, to bring Planning & reporting solutions.
Work closely with the business users during their business hours – for Planning, budgeting and reporting
processes

What do we expect?

Model Development: Design, develop, and implement TM1 models and applications, focusing on

creating and maintaining cubes, dimensions, and business rules.

Technical Expertise: Utilize strong skills in TM1 Rules and Turbo Integrator (TI) to develop comprehensive reporting solutions in Planning Analytics for Excel (PAx) and Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).
End-to-End Solutions: Demonstrate expertise in building end-to-end solutions in TM1, capable of developing TM1 objects with or without the use of wizards.
Application Migration: Oversee the migration of Contributor applications into PAW and facilitate the transition from on-premises TM1 to cloud environments.
Hands on experience with TM1Py to build models and integrate other planning data
Security Management: Design and manage TM1 security protocols, including Row Level Security (RLS), for complex data models.
Documentation & Support: Create and maintain thorough documentation for TM1 applications and provide ongoing support and training to the TM1 user community.

Job Requirement

External Skills and Expertise:

Mandatory: IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 experience with IBM certification – both on prem and SaaS offering experience. It includes TI experience, Pax-PAW experience, Rules, TM1Py and security management
Optional: Cognos Reporting or other reporting tools (eg: Power BI/Tableau), Cognos Controller
Exhibit strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.

Good to have:

Experience of working on Writing SQL / PL-SQL Processes
Understanding of the business processes of planning/budgeting (Sales finance, cost planning and similar space)
