Senior Associate-Google Workspace Administrator

Job Description
  • As a Senior Associate – Technology Infrastructure you will be an individual contributor and responsible for supporting and managing our Google Workspace environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Collaboration and Productivity tools. 
  • You will manage and administer all aspects of Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Drive, Docs,Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Groups, Sites and other related services.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, custom attributes and access controls.
  • Configure and maintain security policies, including data loss prevention (DLP), spam filtering,and mobile device management (MDM).
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide technical support, monitor system performance and availability.
  • Implement and manage Google Workspace integrations with other applications.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of Google Workspace with other systems and infrastructure, including Active Directory.
  • Configure and maintain GCDS, GSPS, SSO (SAML, OAuth) with other 3rd party applications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Google Workspace tools and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Google Workspace policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security and privacy regulations.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for Google Workspace such as CAP, MFA,
  • Content compliance, Email log search, Vault etc.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Participate in and contribute to Google Workspace-related projects - evaluation and implementation, including migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.
Job Requirement
  • The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of hands-on experience administering Google Workspace in a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of Google Workspace core services and administration tools.
  • Experience with Google Workspace security and compliance features.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., GAM, Apps Script) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Google Workspace certifications, exposure to Microsoft O365 platform are a plus.
