We are headquartered in the Silicon Valley and have our delivery centres across the globe. The below role is for our Chennai or Bangalore office, or you can choose to work remotely.

About the role:

We are seeking a seasoned MLE Architect with over a decade of experience to lead high-impact AI/ML initiatives. As a technical decision-maker and thought leader, you will design scalable architectures, oversee the deployment of hundreds of models, and mentor teams across multiple client engagements. You will bridge the gap between complex business challenges and analytical solutions, driving both technical excellence and revenue growth.

Desired Skills, Competencies & Experience:

10+ years of experience delivering AI/ML Solutions and Services
Strong analytical skills with expertise in designing, deploying and maintaining AI/ML solution
Ability to stay updated on AI/ML advancements and prototype innovative solutions.
Deep Understanding of various architectural patterns like pipeline architecture, layered architecture, service oriented architecture, microservices architecture and event driven architecture. Should be able to comfortably debate pros and cons of each patterns
Good Understanding about Medallion Architecture and strong hands on experience in pyspark and good understanding on databricks runtimes.
Good understanding on various data models like RDMS, NoSQL
Strong handson knowledge in Databricks Job Optimization wrt to latency, throughput and cost. Moreover, should have good knowledge on databricks cluster sizing
Good Understanding of Data Governance Tools like Databricks Unity Catalog wrt Data Organization, Data Quality, Access Controls
Strong hands on experience in AI Governance
Strong knowledge in distributed computing that helps in deploying ML model at scale. In other words, distributed model training scoring using Tensorflow and PyTorch
Good knowledge of Data science approaches, machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
Good understanding on usage of various ML evaluation metrics to identify performance bottle necks. This includes Data Drift, Feature Drift, Concept Drift and Target Drift
Strong hands on experience in solving engineering problem that arises while deploying ML Models in production
Experience in handling hundreds of deployed model in production
Architect end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) integrating model testing and advanced deployment strategies (Shadow, A/B, Canary).
Design observability solutions using OpenTelemetry to capture logs, traces, and metrics for microservices and model monitoring.
Experience in designing and building CICD pipelines using tools like github actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines etc. Design includes incorporating application testing, model testing and deployment strategies like Shadow Deployments, A/B Testing and Canary releases based on use cases
Should be able to manage multiple accounts and clients in Architect Capacity
Strong in python and python design patterns and antipatterns
Having experience with GenAI is an add on.
Strong problem-solving skills to engage with clients and structure discussions around unstructured challenges.
Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions with measurable outcomes.
Thought leadership in data science, positioning yourself as a technical decision-maker.
Track record of identifying new opportunities, expanding existing ones, and converting capabilities into revenue streams.
Experience leading and mentoring teams across multiple clients and projects.
B. Tech from Tier-1 college / M.S or M. Tech is preferred
Strong knowledge in cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP
